Why are bodies so weird?
The good news: I didn’t gain.
The bad news: I didn’t lose.
The scale remained the same this week as it had last week. But I didn’t gain, so that’s okay. Last week I lost 4.3lbs. Maybe my body is just balancing out. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m bloated and have woman things going on inside. Whatever the case, it’s no reason to give up.
Next week I plan on a 2.4lb loss on the scale come hell or high water. ….Preferably high water because hell isn’t so appealing.
Did not like. My scale suffered.
I am wondering if last Friday’s weigh in was a fluke.
Body’s are weird.
But, whatever the reason, I’m gonna have to work a little harder the next couple of days if I want to meet my goal of 2.4lbs lost this week.
In other news, all my Zumbaing is paying off in other ways; I can now read Spanish. Of course, speaking it…another story.
Tonight’s dinner, Chicken Enchilada Soup, comes from Gina at Skinny Taste. Instead of crock potting it tonight, I’m going to just use the stove top, and let it simmer, while I do my 30 minutes of Zumba.

Update: It was AMAZEBALLS.
I tracked my WW Points really close this week, I used some of my weekly points, and I Zumba’d my butt off along with a trip or two to the dreadmill at the gym.
I’ve notice I am learning how to make healthier choices when I am hungry between meals. I’ve found keeping fruit already pre-sliced in the fridge make it more likely for me to grab that instead of chips or ice cream. Also, I’ve been eating Healthy Ones Chicken Breast, cheese cubes, snack pack puddings, crab meat, and almonds and pistachios.
Also, I haven’t been depriving myself if I’m still hungry at dinner. If I find I’m still hungry, I will eat another small portion of whatever meat or vegetables I’ve made. If I go over my daily points, well that’s what my weekly points are for.
I just eat smart, and asking myself “are you honestly really hungry?” before I eat, has helped immensely.
So, with all that said. Today was Weigh In Friday.
The scale told me I’ve lost 4.3 lbs since last week! Well ahead of my 2.4lbs per week target!
I can’t tell you how good it feels to see that scale go down.

The awesome thing about this recipe, was it required no adjustments to make it WW friendly. However, I did add mushrooms to mine. These were phenomenal.

Most people hate it. Me included.
But I’m finding ways to combat my hatred for it. Like using Netflix on my phone to watch TV shows while I tread on the treadmill. But now, there’s Zumba.
For one hour of my day, I burn roughly 800 calories doing Zumba. 800 CALORIES. 800. Say WHAT?
So I’ll take it. Three times a week, 800 calories a pop. I think I might hate cardio a little less now.

To obtain this goal, I need to at least lose 2.4 lbs every week.
Friday is the official weigh in date. But I am doing mid week weight checks to make sure I am keeping on track, and to stay motivated.
This morning I am down 1lb. I need to step it up a little if I am going to meet my goal this Friday. In order to step it up, I’ll be doing an hour of Zumba tonight.
